THG Labs at the SCS Mentorship Programme Launch

May 11, 2026

Earlier this month, members of the THG LABS R&D team Kirsty Gainey, Roger Rowson and Ayşe Balioğlu joined fellow mentors and mentees at the Royal Society of Chemistry for the launch of the Society of Cosmetic Scientists' 2026 Mentorship Programme.

It was a brilliant event bringing together some of the brightest emerging talent in cosmetic science alongside the experienced specialists who'll be supporting them through the year ahead. Our colleagues are proud to be taking part as mentors, contributing to the development of the next generation of scientists entering our industry.

Initiatives like this matter. Cosmetic science is a discipline that rewards depth of knowledge, curiosity and skill, and the best way to pass that on is person to person. We're grateful to the SCS for building a programme that makes that possible and looking forward to seeing what this year's cohort goes on to achieve.

A huge welcome to all the mentees and congratulations to everyone involved in getting this off the ground.
